Chris, the Business Manager, joined Delaware Heart & Vascular, P.A. in March of 2011. Prior to joining DH&V Chris worked in Wilmington, Delaware in the loan department of commercial banks facilitating over-night, intra-bank lending transactions. After re-locating to Dover she took a short leave of absence from working outside the home and was a stay-at-home mom. She re-joined the working force at a private, out-patient physical therapy practice part-time as a book-keeper. In a short-time she became the Office Manager and then the Business/Practice Manager and she worked there for 17 years, leaving only after the company was sold to a corporation. After leaving physical therapy she tried something different and worked as a Site Manager for a Chicago-based concierge service but after realizing she missed being in private practice and practice management, she found her way to DH&V.

Chris is a graduate of Ursuline Academy and Goldey Beacom College, where she earned her Bachelor’s of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Management.   As the Business Manager at DH&V Chris is responsible for over-seeing the financial aspects of the practice including accounts payable, vendor management, payroll & benefits analysis and financial reporting and compliance.

Chris and her husband Dave have a son Christopher who works at Oracle in the Health Science Global Business Unit and a daughter Katie who works at Price Waterhouse Coopers in the Tax Global/HR Department, both in the Philadelphia area.  In her spare time Chris enjoys reading, trying new recipes, scrap-booking and her Mary Kay business. With her husband she enjoys traveling, especially cruising, eating out, boating, fishing and spending time with her family and friends.
