Kirstin is the Vascular Technologist and Technical Director of the Delaware Heart & Vascular, Vascular Lab. Kirstin is a 2000 graduate of The Charter School of Wilmington. She attended a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited ultrasound program at Delaware Technical and Community College, where she earned her Associates Degree in Vascular Technology in 2006. Kirstin went on to gain her credential as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in 2009. She is also a member of the Society of Vascular Ultrasound (SVU).
Kirstin gained her clinical vascular training and experience through internships at Christiana Care Health System and private vascular surgery practices. Upon graduation she accepted a Vascular Technologist positon in Chesapeake, Virginia with Chesapeake Regional Medical Center. There she continued to build upon her experience and education until her return to Delaware and Christiana Care Health System. Looking to expand her career once again, Kirstin joined Delaware Heart and Vascular, P.A. as the Technical Director in 2010.
Kirstin was born, raised and currently resides in Wilmington, Delaware. In addition to her two young sons she has a large extended family with whom she loves spending time with. She enjoys cooking and baking, amusement parks, traveling, and spending time outdoors. During the warmer months you would most likely find Kirstin at a family bar-b-que or at the beach with her family. Kirstin hopes to return to school and earn her Bachelor's Degree in the near future.
